We’re looking at the Property Press Awards this week, for a fantastic example of a contemporary award with a fully bespoke print.
The 2020 Property Press Awards recognise ‘journalistic talent across the spectrum of property writing from business stories to international property, consumer media to trade magazines’.

Designing the Property Press Awards, as with any custom awards, starts with a brief. This enquiry requested a house-shaped award, identified a budget, and presented our team with some examples of event branding. Designing on-brand and on-budget is part of our tailored service, and these three elements are crucial at the design stage. Additional details, such as recipient details, can be confirmed at the final proofing stage.
Profiling acrylic offers a custom shape while still offering a clean, modern canvas for branded elements. For these awards, the house-shaped award is freestanding, with a smooth polished edge for a professional and award-cabinet worth finish.
With in-house print and design, making an award that embodies an event is par the course. This solid black print with gold detail put winners’ names front and centre, as well as the 2020 Property Press Awards logo and the category title.

Stand-out winners’ included Hugh Graham, taking home three titles including Property Press Journalist of the Year, as well as First Time Buyer Magazine, awarded Consumer Magazine of the Year.
