The ARIAS are the Audio & Radio Industry Awards, and they celebrate the individuals and teams in UK radio and audio that produce exceptional work in an ever-evolving industry. Recognised globally as the ‘Oscars of UK radio and audio’, the ARIAS cover ‘the most diverse range of genre, talent and output from public service radio, commercial radio, podcasters, community radio, student radio, independent production, audio books and beyond’.
Gaudio have worked with the team at the ARIAS for a number of years, and the design has changed as the awards have gone from strength to strength.
The Audio and Radio Industry is one that’s stood the test of time, and the trophy reflects the theme of the event. Contemporary audio production has global reach, and the design of these awards are instantly recognisable.
With a bespoke design, the ARIAS Awards can incorporate not only brand-relevant colours, graphics, and logos, but they can also feature creative calls to the event itself, and industry-specific elements. Our in-house manufacturing methods are combined to create this techy look, the awards are modelled after a speaker. Each piece is freestanding, with a printed design and tactile mesh front.
The awards are surrounded with a border of long-lasting gold colour, and have a premium brushed finish for a smooth, matte surface. Each award is personalised, with winners’ names, their winning category title, the date of the awards, so each trophy is more than a keepsake that’s fun to display, but also a reminder of the work that led to their achievement.
The awards recognised figures from across the industry, from well-known great Annie Mac, winning Best Music Entertainment Show for the last Radio 1 Dance Party, to Best New Show, for emerging talents and fan favourites releasing new and innovative productions. Additional accolades celebrated audio comedy, factual shows, and independent podcasts.
These iconic awards cast a spotlight on a history field; one with a legacy that spans over 100 years. The Audio and Radio Industry Awards are a great example of how an award can look prestigious, while reflecting a core theme with a fun and creative design.
