Construction News Specialists Awards 2018

The Construction News Specialists Awards celebrate the best specialist contractors in the UK. Held in London last night, the industry’s biggest night of the year saw finalists come together to honour companies, projects, and individuals whose achievements have stood out over the past year.

Now in their thirteenth year, the Construction News Specialists Awards present twenty categories. From the Health, Safety and Well Being Excellence award, to the Apprentice of the Year award, these prestigious awards recognise success in every corner of the industry.

At Gaudio, we knew we needed to create something that looked and felt impressive, with prominent branding, in line with the distinguished nature of the event.

Creative Construction

The final designs are made from polished aluminium tablets, on a polished aluminium base. Adding a base to a metal tablet not only makes its sturdy, it makes the award easier to hold and display, and contributes to the overall professional finish of the award. The base has plenty of space, and is expertly engraved in-house, displaying the category and the winners’ details.

Our in-house printing facilities provide crisp colour matching, and for these awards we utilised this in two ways. First, the Construction News Specialists Awards logo is printed in the top right corner. Secondly, we inset printed acrylic into the aluminium. This gives the piece some texture, and the logo is integrated as a fundamental feature of the award.

Only a bespoke award can truly represent a company’s brand, story or values, and these trophies are no exception. With a premium polished finish and a modern design, these awards represent the expertise and achievement celebrated at the Construction News Specialists Awards.
