Cotswold Life Food & Drink Awards

The Cotswold Life Food & Drink Awards is one of the highlights of the Cotswolds’ social calendar. The event has recently taken place for the fifteenth year at Cheltenham Racecourse, with around six hundred guests turning out to celebrate the best of Cotswolds Food & Drink producers.

Sixteen awards were up for grabs on the night, including ‘Cheese of the Year’, ‘Best Ale, Beer or Cider,’ ‘Food Product of the Year,’ and ‘Best Cotswold Pub,’ among others. The headline sponsor of the event was Warner’s Budgens, which has been sponsoring the event for ten years, and with its small chain of four stores, is renowned for its association with local food and drink producers. Several other well-known local businesses also sponsored the event, including NFU Mutual, Cotteswold Dairy, Hazlewoods Chartered Accountants and Royal Three Counties Show.

As another local Cotwolds business, Gaudio has been proud to support the Cotswold Life Food & Drink Awards with the supply of the winners’ trophies for several years. The awards have been redesigned every year to reflect the current year’s branding, and this year featured a large polished aluminium circle set on a round, polished aluminium base. The circular aluminium top was printed in full colour with the event branding, sponsors’ logo, category, and winners’ details, with the headline sponsor’s logo on every award.
