An emotional Kylie Minogue last night picked up her Gaudio designed O2 Silver Clef Award for 25 years of service to the music industry. Speaking after receiving her award, Kylie said “I never would have thought 25 years ago I could have got an award like this and I think that’s why I was so emotional up there. It’s really hard to comprehend and how to express my gratitude.”
Other winners on the night included Jessie J for Best British Act and Michael Bublé picked up the International Award. The glamorous event was attended by the biggest names in music, including Sir Tom Jones, Tinie Tempah and Mel C.
Now in its 37th year, the Nordoff Robbins O2 Silver Clef Awards is recognised as one of music’s most prestigious awards. The ceremony honours artists from across the music industry, whilst raising money for the Nordoff Robbins charity. Gaudio are once again thrilled to have supplied the unique awards for such a worthwhile cause.

Nordoff Robbins is a national music charity dedicated to transforming the lives of vulnerable children and adults across the UK.
- They use music therapy and other music services to help a range of people with a range of challenges such as autism, dementia, mental health problems, stroke, brain injury, depression and life-threatening or terminal illnesses, such as cancer. All of the people they help have one uniting factor – music dramatically improves their quality of life.
- They provide professional masters training for music therapists, along with various short courses and workshops which are open to everyone interested in learning more about music and well-being.
- Their research work is building the evidence for music therapy and helps them to inform and train the practitioners of the future.
No other organisation uses music to reach so many people, in so many contexts, with such consistently high levels of expertise. The power of music affects us all – through Nordoff Robbins it can transform lives.
