Bespoke trophies for extraordinary moments
Bespoke TrophiesGaudio 2019 Round Up
There’s been a lot to celebrate at Gaudio this year!
We’ve been fortunate enough to celebrate not only our personal successes, but the achievements of people from across the globe in a whole host of industries. To round off the year, we’ve highlighted just a few of our favourite moments of 2019.
INVESTORS IN PEOPLE AWARDS 2019
We’re extremely proud to have won the Small Business Award at the Investors in People Awards 2019. The award recognised Gaudio’s evolving efforts to to support people in the workplace, and our distinctive methods caught they eyes of the judges. New employees are guided organically through each department, manufacturing their own award.
The award was accepted by Managing Director, Adam Hutchinson:
“Winning the Small Business award has been a fantastic way to end an already brilliant year, and I;m so excited to see what we can achieve with Gaudio and House Sign UK in the future.”
HISTORIC MAN BOOKER DECISION
An iconic ruling saw two authors, Bernardine Evaristo and Margaret Atwood, take home a Man Booker Prize this year. The award itself has a simple, statement design that makes a big impact. The historic significance of the Man Booker Prize lends itself to a minimalist design that speaks for itself.
We’ve spoken about the options with acrylic tablets in the past, and the Man Booker award is no exception. The variety and versatility of the evolving logo can be incorporated year-on-year with an acrylic tablet, alongside the special addition of a spine print for the winning books.
MAGICAL AVIVA ACE
It’s been a year of spell-binding designs, but none more magical than the Aviva ACE Awards.
These awards saw a contemporary take on a freestanding trophy, offering a unique form. The wooden frame houses printed acrylic, for eye-catching category designs. With a rustic, intricate feel, these awards provided plenty of space for the dynamic event branding. Manufactured in several sizes, the Aviva ACE awards were produced for winners’ and runners’ up in multiple categories.
O2 SILVER CLEF AWARDS
The O2 Silver Clef Awards are a staple on the Gaudio calendar, and this year was no exception. The awards have raised over £11 million for the Nordoff Robins charity since their inception, funding music therapy development since 1976. The distinctive silver clef logo has seen several iterations over the years, and this year had an electrifying theme with neon print accompanying the classic shape.
SUPER SUSTAINABLE LEAF YOUR OFFICE AWARD
The Woodland Trust Leaf Your Office award was a favourite of ours in 2019. Crafted from high-quality, responsibly sourced wood, the design featured detailed engraving and wooden detail. The logo is engraved and used in part for the raised wood, giving a contemporary, cut-off effect.
2019 showcased the versatility of wood, and our flexibility with sustainable options. You can take a look at some of our other sustainable custom awards in our gallery.
