The IPP Long Service Awards presented recipients with a custom wooden trophy, manufactured in-house at Gaudio.

Whether celebrating five years with an organisation, or fifteen, these milestones deserve to be celebrated. A custom long service trophy that feels considered and personal is one way to make each employee feel special, and embody the real and meaningful impact of consistency and hard work in a business.

The brief from the IPP group was clear; create a bespoke long service trophy with a natural feel. Our Account Managers worked with the team at IPP to create a full brief before design. Wood was the preferred material, and the design needed to feature a  ‘Tree of Love’ element with a prominent design, and the company logo in a way that was in keeping with the rest of the trophy.

Inspired by the natural components, and the inspiration pictures provided by the client, the final trophy is a freestanding award that combines traditional materials with contemporary detailing.

The foundation of the trophy is a light oak tablet, chosen for its warm appearance and natural character. Wood is a very popular choice for recognition awards, and trophies for many occasions, because it offers a timeless look that suits a wide range of businesses and industries. It’s also an excellent base to start with, as wood can be easily engraved and personalised.

To incorporate the visual element of the ‘Tree of Love’, the design is embellished with a laser-cut tree, manufactured from metallic silver acrylic. It’s adhered to the front of the trophy, and extends beyond the side of the wood, creating an overhanging effect that gives the piece a more dynamic silhouette.

A wooden tablet, alongside offering a sturdy base and traditional feel, also provides plenty of space for engraving. The IPP logo is engraved in the top, and either a message of recogniton or the winners’ names are engraved in the bottom right.

We’ve seen all sorts of messages on long-service awards. Whether it’s a meaningful piece of poetry, or a list of achievements, there are plenty of options when it comes to saying the right thing on a long service trophy. Like many of our designs, this award keeps it simple with a title of the award and the recipient’s name.

Combined with a warm, natural oak and the impressive finish of metallic silver acrylic, the design of this trophy creates a lasting reminder of each recipient’s achievement. Print is colour-matched. Based on variations in computer and screen settings, and manufacturing tolerances, colours may appear differently to what you see on screen.

Gaudio Proofing Service

With the Gaudio Proofing Service, simply add your chosen trophy to your cart and checkout as normal. A member of the team will be in touch to collect the required details, and we’ll send you proofs to approve before manufacture. Delivery time excludes proofing.
