Here are six of our favourite sports trophies that have rolled out of the Gaudio studio…

1) Vans ‘The Circle’ Awards

‘The Circle’ Awards are the perfect example of a sports trophy that dares to be different. Designed for a Vans skateboarding competition, we brought the brand’s off-the-wall personality to life with bold mirror acrylic layered on solid aluminium. The acrylic was crafted in vibrant hues of bronze, silver, gold, and blue, with each one reflecting a different level of achievement.

The top of the trophy features a laser-cut, mirror-finish acrylic profile shaped like an illustrated camera, complete with white-printed detailing that captures the iconic Vans checkerboard pattern. Each award sits atop a solid aluminium base, and is tapered and engraved with the Vans logo, category title, and winner’s name.

Why we love it: These sports trophies are as bold, colourful, and unique as the skaters they celebrate, with every detail reflecting the spirit of the brand.

2) European Rally Championship Award

Few sporting events push this limit quite like a European rally, and this custom sports trophy captures every bit of that adrenaline. The European Rally Championship Award called on us to create a 3D tyre that they could present to their suppliers; so we went the extra mile by replicating the exact tread pattern of a specific racing tyre. 

The 3D-printed components are lightweight yet incredibly detailed, with tread blocks and grooves that feel as good as they look. The finished trophy was then topped with a black painted finish and subtle gloss to give it a sleek and modern appearance; ideal for a high-profile presentation like this one.

Why we love it: The level of detail in this trophy is astonishing. It invites the winner to hold it and connect with it, rather than letting it gather dust on a shelf.

3) World Boxing News Award

Some sports trophies go for power; but others, like this one, go for poise. For the World Boxing News Award, we crafted these sleek, super-slimline trophies from solid aluminium to give them a surprisingly weighty feel. But what really makes it stand out is the clever use of print. 

We carefully blended a striking collage of boxing imagery with aluminium and acrylic to create depth and movement. It’s a subtle detail, but it adds lots of visual texture. The trophies were then mounted on a polished aluminium base and engraved with each winner’s name to make them feel every bit as premium as the title they celebrate. 

Why we love it: It’s sleek and minimal but still packs a punch. The collage of boxing imagery really catches the light and elevates the whole piece.

4) Alchemy Golf Day Trophy

Have you ever seen a golf trophy without a golf ball? For Alchemy’s annual corporate golf day, we didn’t lean into clichés, and instead focused on putting the brand front and centre. We used a bold cut-out of the Alchemy ‘A’ to create a piece that’s unmistakably theirs, with a subtle golf ball nestled in the centre for good measure.

Constructed from a premium mix of polished aluminium and recycled clear acrylic, this sporting trophy strikes a perfect balance between sustainability and style. It’s professional, minimal, and completely on-brand, and looks just as good in a boardroom as it does on the 18th hole.

Why we love it: It’s smart, sharp, and doesn’t rely on obvious iconography. It’s a great example of a sports trophy that is completely on-brand, without being cliché.

5) The Golf Course Awards

Sometimes the simplest sporting trophies are actually the most impressive. The Golf Course Awards trophy is a masterclass in premium minimalism. It’s crafted from custom metal and finished in the brand’s recognisable dark green with gold print to tie in perfectly with the wider event branding.

These awards were created to recognise outstanding golf courses across Great Britain & Island, and are supported by a full promotional campaign in the run-up to the annual winners’ event each December. With its clean lines and crisp logo placement, this trophy is understated yet impactful, making it ideal for the formal golf presentation setting.

Why we love it: This trophy might be simple, but it’s far from forgettable. It’s proof that when done right, minimalism can carry serious weight.

Print is colour-matched. Based on variations in computer and screen settings, and manufacturing tolerances, colours may appear differently to what you see on screen.
