The Coca-Cola Excellence Awards

Coca-Cola is a truly iconic brand, raking in a net worth of over $299 billion. Those classic bright red cans are instantly recognisable, housing one of the world’s most refreshing cold drinks. 

Coca-Cola called on Gaudio to design a sustainable trophy that incorporated their branding in a fresh and inventive way for their Excellence Awards. We created a custom wooden trophy with unique bespoke elements, transforming the historic silhouette of their classic glass bottle design into something fresh, exciting, and totally sustainable.

As well as being made from the finest quality of wood from our eco-friendly suppliers, the trophies also featured a recycled acrylic window showcasing Coca-Cola bottle caps and printed acrylic backing. The natural variations in the wood offered the ideal canvas for bespoke engraving, with the fun bottle cap display adding to the organic, natural feel of the trophies.

The Student Accommodation Awards

The Student Accommodation Awards is one of the key annual events in the student housing sector, recognising the individuals, organisations and projects who shape the student living experience. 

As the Student Accommodation conference became more aware of sustainability initiatives, they commissioned Gaudio to design quality trophies made from environmentally friendly materials, including recycled aluminium, glass, acrylics and wood. They required two separate designs: a robust round trophy and a taller trophy. Both trophies sat on solid responsibly-sourced wooden bases, offering an elevated yet elegant look.

Each trophy was designed with longevity in mind, using cutting-edge eco-friendly manufacturing techniques to ensure minimal wastage. The finished product featured vibrant colour and patterns, incorporating sustainable materials and thoughtful designs that are guaranteed to stand the test of time.

The AIC Media Awards

The AIC Media Awards is one of the UK’s most prestigious investment journalism events, highlighting the talented individuals who go above and beyond to educate advisors and private investors. 

The Gaudio team were asked to create sustainable yet modern trophies that effectively showcased the distinct AIC brand. We created custom wooden trophies with a contemporary split column design, allowing the stunning light oak craftsmanship to truly shine. The text elements were laser-cut by our specialist production operatives to maintain a contemporary look. The natural wooden grain created a finished result that was totally unique and personalised to each winner. 

Each award makes for a beautiful display piece in their own right, allowing the winners to look back and feel pride in their achievements.

The British Travel Awards

The British Travel Awards is an annual evening of glitz and glamour. Companies and individuals are recognised for their contributions to the UK travel industry, with categories including everything from bespoke holiday packages to innovative booking platforms.

Gaudio is proud to have worked with The British Travel Awards for 10+ years, designing custom-made trophies for some truly exceptional winners. We were tasked to give their trophies an eco-friendly refresh to align with their sustainability initiatives, without losing sight of their recognisable historic design.

The result was a custom sustainable trophy crafted from quality beech wood. We embraced the traditional silhouette in a fresh, contemporary style, with the natural tones and visible grain making each trophy totally unique. The trophies  were finished to the highest standard, creating a visually striking look that didn’t cost the earth.

OVO Energy Awards

The goal for the OVO Energy Awards was to create an uncomplicated yet sustainable design, with clever use of printing to prominently feature their iconic logo in a fresh and exciting way.

A solid light oak wooden tablet was the obvious choice for these trophies, elevating these simple freestanding trophies into sophisticated displayed pieces. The simple wooden design was made unique by the clever use of printed colour; our in-house team embraced the natural wooden textures as part of the overall design, utilising colour-matched print in high-quality green hues to add drama and vibrancy.

Each trophy was personalised to the winner, creating a sustainable keepsake that can be admired for many years to come.
