Sahara Force India Wins Gaudio Trophy for Fastest Pit Stop

The Sahara Force India team picked up its first trophy of the year last weekend for the fastest pit stop at the Malaysia grand prix. The bespoke trophy was commissioned by Sky Sports for the new F1 channel. The design is based around the profile of the guns used by the pit team to remove the wheels, and is manufactured from polished aluminium.

The SFI team were thrilled to recieve the award to recognise the hard work they have put into their pit times. Every team up and down the pit lane works hard to make sure their pit stops are as quick as possible. That involves hours of dedication before they even get to the track as the crews take part in fitness sessions and regular practice at the factory.
