Tank Storage Awards

The Tank Storage Awards took place on the 29th March at the Floating Pavilion in Rotterdam. This was the inaugural, global event celebrating excellence, safety and innovation in the storage sector. Ten categories were awarded, which were judged by a panel of industry experts, and included, ‘Safety Excellence in Bulk Liquid Storage,’ ‘Most Efficient Storage Terminal,’ ‘Most Innovative Technology,’ and ‘Best Port’ among others.

Gaudio’s design team loved designing the Tank Storage Awards because they are such a perfect visual representation of the event they were designed for. The awards are an image of a storage tank made from polished aluminium, with brushed aluminium detailing, on a polished aluminium base. The event logo and winners’ details are engraved on the front of the award and the award category and sponsor’s details, if there was one, are engraved on the base. The Tank Storage Awards are completely different to anything the Gaudio team has ever designed before and we really enjoyed bringing the awards to life from the brief we were given. We hope the winners loved them as much as we did.
