Tech Awards powered by Retail Week

Here at Gaudio we always enjoy working with Retail Week to design and create awards for their events. New for 2017 are the Tech. Awards powered by Retail Week. This exciting event aims to highlight and celebrate the innovators of the retail world that are using tech to change their industry. Including a range of categories recognising a diverse variety of applications of tech skills in retail, this is the event to be at.

An exciting new event calls for a cool new design and with tech innovation at its heart we wanted to create awards that would truly be worthy of their recipients. The client’s brief called for a trendy new design that would fit in with, and make the most of, their event branding. After a collaborative design process where we worked closely with the customer to find exactly what they were looking for they selected a design which is created using layers of acrylic and CNC machined brushed aluminium. A clever cut through detail of the event logo gives a glimpse of design details from the event branding that are also used on the front of the award to make this design truly synonymous with the event.

The Tech. Awards took place on the evening of the 14^th September at Hawker House, on the final day of Retail Week’s festival of innovation in retail technology which ran from the 13^th – 14^th September at Here East, Olympic Park.
