Bespoke TrophiesThe Charity Awards Making A Difference
The Charity Awards have returned for their 19th year.
Representatives from 30 shortlisted charities made their way to London for a champagne reception, three course meal, and glittering gala finish. The ceremony highlights the work and year-round commitment displayed in the charity sector.
This year’s branding emphasised ‘celebrating the sector’s stars’. The logo and graphics feature constellations to represent animals, music, and education.

The evening was hosted by Reverend Richard Coles; Radio 4 broadcaster, musician, journalist and vicar – well-known for not only his contribution to charity, but by his 162,000 twitter followers for quick wit and funny observations following his appearance on Strictly Come Dancing.
The Charity Awards received recognition in 2017 at the Awards Awards, taking home the award for Best Judging Panel and Process. The panel has ‘devoted enormous amounts of energy and dedication to the sector’. Notable figures include Cathy Phelan-Watkins, who has been with the awards since their inception in 2000, and Danielle Walker Palmour, director of the Friends Provident Foundation.
Awards that Make a Difference
This year saw the iconic awards return, coupled with new bespoke elements. These streamlined awards, together with the social media content and on-the-night branding, embodied the brand during the event.
With a polished finish, these tablets are an exquisite example of what our designers can do with simple shapes. Crafted from high-quality metal alloy, gold acrylic is inset into the metal.
The acrylic features a colour-matched print of the logo, perfect for the particularly intricate details on the crown. To emphasise this year’s theme, we’ve used our UV-printing facilities to incorporate the event branding. The clouds and constellations give the illusion of a night’s skyline.
In addition, each tablet has the winner’s names printed onto the surface. Not only are bespoke awards unique to every event, they can be customised in detail for every undoubtedly well-deserved winner.
