Whitley Bay Golf Trophy Shines a Light on Gaudio Bespoke Awards

A bespoke golf trophy designed and manufactured by Gaudio, for the Whitley Bay Golf Club.

The club, founded in 1890, began as a luxury, 9-hole course for holiday makers visiting the Northumberland coast. Today, the club is a social hub, and the course itself features 18 holes, with varying degrees of difficulty.

St Mary’s Lighthouse stands as a historical local landmark, with huge significance to the club today. Looking over the north coast, the lighthouse overlooks the original club site. Gaudio was tasked with designing and creating a long-lasting award that would embody the clubs legacy, home to part of the area’s prestigious history.

Lighthouse Award Shines for Whitley Bay

The trophy is crafted from solid, high-quality metal, and turned to take the form of St Mary’s Lighthouse. The award is perpetual – designed and manufactured to last many years, as a staple of the tournament. The finished award is an impressive trophy, perfect to present to a well-deserved winner.

A tiered base adds significant height to this award, making it a beautiful piece to display, with engraving plates for winners’ details. Gaudio provide engraving plates as required, and they’re a streamlined method of refreshing winners’ details year on year.
